Fever with chill and continuous headache
My wife is experiencing high grade fever with chill and continuous headache from 1 month. Her mri indicates meningitis and csf fluid show chances of tb. She has been treated with akt4 since 16 August but no improvement. Please help

May be the bacteria are taking time to respond. Other possibilities are that bacteria are resistant or it is not TB. Meningitis has many causes. TB is one of them. Unless, TB bacteria are found in CSF, it is difficult to be certain. Once such bacteria is found, its sensitivity to medicines is tested in the laboratory and medicines can be tailored.
