Please let me know if moxclav bd is safe to give to infant? Isn't this an antibiotic? My 2year kid is suffering from check congestion, running nose, vomiting after eating and 101 fever.

Hello, Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor. The usual dose is 20 to 40 milligrams (mg) per kilogram (kg) of body weight per day, divided and given every 8 hours. It's given for only bacterial infection. It has no effect on viral infection. You can give if it's prescripbed by pediatrician.
