Fever since 13 April, 2017
My brother, aged 16 is suffering from fever since 13 April. The fever lasted for 17 days and, after a gap of 2 days it relapsed. The doctor diagnosed viral fever and prescribed paracetamol. The blood tests were negative for typhoid, malaria and others. The urine culture reports are to come by Monday. Please if you could help us as the doctor we are consulting has not got a clue yet.

AS ALL THE TEST FOR TYPHOD, MALARIA ARE NEGATIVE, HAVE YOU ANY PET IN YOUR HOUSE?IF YES GO FOR BRUCELLOSIS ANYBODY TI TEST, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT IF PET IS THEIR.
THE URINE CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY TEST IS YET AWAITING.
DOCTORS ADVISE IS PARACETAMOL WHICH IS CORRECT.

IF BRUCELLOSIS ANTIBODIES TEST IS POSITIVE TREATMENT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. IT IS FOR THREE MONTHS WHICH IS GIVEN UNDERCOVER OF DOCTOR.
