Hi my son had a viral fever from Aug 3, he has been antibiotics for five days (last dose given on Aug 9)and we underwent test for dengue which came out negative.. he didnt get fever since Aug 9. But yesterday night he reported ear pain and he is running a mild fever of temperature 100 to 100.7 F. What could this be? Shall I wait for a day or two to watch the symptoms or consult doctor immediately?
My regular pediatrician is on vacation, so couldn't be contacted immediately.
Thanks in advance

See a doctor to check if he has a ear infection. If all well on examination then wait it out for 2-3 days for the fever to subside.
