Fever for 5 yrs old
From 29th mrg my son had mild fever with continuous 6hrs interval I gave him paracetamol P250 5ml. But the fever didin comes down. On 29th evg we went nearby paediatric he suggested the same P250 and in b/w the fever rise he suggest me to give meftal and says to continue for 1day.. After that still the fever persist. He says to go with dengue profile blood test. He didin suggest any antibiotics. Oly fever is there no other symptoms.. kindly pls help me out of this.

True, viral fevers do not need antibiotics. Viral fevers last for 3-5 days Depending on how the child looks, whether he is active or very dull, treatment is advised.
