Fever for 15+days with stomach pain/cram
My son is 2years and 6month old. Since last 15days he gets fever under 100.5 which lasts for about 6-8hrs daily. The doctor gave  meftagesic DS(7days) and Cepodem (2.5days). But still he gets fever 99-100degrees. He complaints for stomach cramps and constipation so he's prescribed for Bevon and Mucaine gel. Activity level is normal even during fever. Doctor asked to not give paracip if fever is below 101.(managing with cold compress). Now we're going for sonography. CRP is 14mg/ml tested on 5th day of fever. Please suggest what could be the root cause for 15days fever? In blood test - it's negative for maleria, typhoid, dengue. No rashes or itchiness on skin.

Hello, fever may be secondary to pain abdomen an which in turn may be of constipation. Avoid tea, bekary products, packaged food. Give plenty of oral fluids and proper nutrtion. Don't rush to treat fever if child is playful, active.
