Fertility issue
Hi, we are trying for a baby for past many months with no success. Is any kind of insemination helpful? What's the cost n success rate? I am staying in Mumbai.

Hi, hopefully you both got your investigations done and they are normal. Intrauterine Insemination(IUI) is helpful in people who have unexplained subfertility. Every natural cycle we have 10% chance of pregnancy. With IUI it becomes 15% - 20%. With 4 such cycles chances of pregnancy are 60-70%. Cist of insemination is around 5000 to 10000 and 2000 for ultrasound ( follicle monitoring of 5-6 days, to check growth of egg).
With test tube baby, chances are 35%- 40%, costing around 1lakh to 1.5 lakh per cycle.
Which one you require will be decide by doc after thoroughly examining and investigating you and husband.
