Femovan usage
I am getting married and my gynec suggested me femovan for 6 months. She asked me to start on 5th day of my cycle. So my marriage would be before completion of 21 tablets. Would it be still effective? And is the 5th day usage correct? Want to make extra careful. And will it be effective without any other protection?

Hello, The low dose oral contraceptive Femovan/Gynera which contains Ethinylestradiol and Gestoden .All oral contraceptives has to be taken on 5 the day of cycle. It will suppress ovulation itself ,so no need to take any other contraceptives. If you still want to take extra care ,you can ask your partner to use condoms.
