Femilon caused severe hair loss
I was diagnosed with PCOD, and my previous doctor had put me on Yaz which helped control the acne and skin problems. I exercised and lost weight as well, and the doctor said if I continued to stay fit, I can stop the medication. Subsequently, I stopped the medication, but due to lockdown and work stress, the conditions came back and became much worse. I had amenhorrea, and I subsequently consulted another doctor. She recommended Femilon. I took Femilon for about 2 months, and I suffered from extreme hair loss. My barber actually asked if I am ok as there was severe thinning and loss around my crown. I stopped Femilon after the pack completed, but since I have put on weight again and exhibiting PCOD symptoms (acne), can I go back to Yaz? After my bad experience with Femilon, I am super scared to try any other new medication.
