Feel that air is passing through ear
Hi Doctors,
I am facing the issue with my right ear where I feel that air passing through ear.Eutachian tube is not blocked as consulted by local doctor and audio test is also normal.No other symptoms is faced.Can you please tell what is the possible cause for it and remedy

Hi, the normal mechanism is that when we breathe in air through the nostrils, small amount of it goes in to the eustachian tube and aerates the middle ear, this is very important for hearing because if the tube gets blocked then the problem of fluid filling happens which later gets infected to cause AOM .
Next Steps
Sometimes the elasticity of the eustachian tube gets weakened, sudden loss of weight or loss of musculature.
