Feel acidic in throat

Once doctor prescribed nupenta dsr tablets for 10 days period for acidic feeling in the throat region for Now it's been 3-4 months now , but sometimes i do have the same feel now. So can i now have the same tablet for the same problem without consulting the doctor again. Please advice. Thank you
