The medicine prescribed by the doctor is called as anti helminthic medication it is given if you have any ones in your intestinal tract there are no side effects of this medication this is not pain killer non steroidal anti inflammatory drug it is very safe to continue but mucus in stools can be because of entamoeba histolytica which causes amoebiasis and it can also be because of irritable bowel syndrome as it is a long treatment better go for ayurvedic medications and get the problem completely cured
