Father having 100 fever after angioplast
My Father 57 years old went through angioplasty yesterday with 3 arteries blockage and 3 stent.
But after discharge he is having fever after every 5 hrs of 99.8.
Please let me know what can be the cause or is there any complications for this fever.

Post surgery fever can be due to multiple reasons, due to infections during hospitals day, sutures related infections, any other cross viral infections. If there is any pain or discharge from the suture side you need to consult the surgeon and started on medications as early as possible. If the fever is with other symptoms like urinary infection cough you can consult a physician and treat accordingly. Such infections or fever are common post discharge and need not be worried
