At this age we cannot call it asthma but yes with symptoms such as wheezing, fast breathing and shortness of breath, child is having recurrent wheeze with high probability of asthma so should continue budecort as advised by doctor and follow up after 2-3 week to see symptom control and if symptoms resolve then it's better to continue for minimum 3 months for now.
Next Steps
Continue MDI budecort with mask and spacer twice a day. Gargle after each use. Also use MDI asthalin as and when required as advised by the doctor.
Health Tips
It's better to continue medicine and titrate based on doctor's recommendations.
