I have a family history of breast cancer. My grandmother and my aunt have suffered from the disease. Am I high risk for the disease? What preventive measures apart from regular check ups do I need to take.

If your grandmother / your aunt is available, we can them check for inherited mutations. If they come up positive then you might be at a higer risk. In that case, you also need to be checked. Depending on the type of error and the syndrome, preventive measures can be discussed with the physician.
