Facing problem after surg
After chronic otitis media(tympanoplasty)on  09.06.17 in left ear, whenever i put cotton in ear to wipe out wetness or to protect ear from air, i find stain of blood in cotton and feel a continuous sound in ear. Is it common after tympanoplasty or something afraid of? Please reply. Thanks.

Reddish discharge after tympanoplasty is usually due to disintegration of gel foam which is commonly used during surgery. Even intermittent sound is normal for few weeks. Consult operating surgeon for confirmation of diagnosis
