Face color becomes dark
Hello Doctor My face color becomes dark. Few days ago met with an accident and minor injury was there. The medicines for the injury made my skin as original (fair) as it was. Consulted a dermatologist in person and she told me to perform the vitamin B12 blood test. The result of vit B12 is 220 pg/ml. Pls suggest me further. thanks

There are many reasons why your skin would turn dark. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please call me or send photos with detailed history using online consult option for proper treatment.
