Eyeglasses
I've a13 yr old daughter. Around 6 maths back she started complaining of headache I didn't realize it then but now when I took her for an eyetest the doctor did the eyetest and said her eyes are weak. Her no.in both eyes is -2.0. We had her glasses made, few hours of wearing them she complained of bad headache and tired eyes. How should I get to know that the no.is right for her. And what should I do? Should I continue making her wear the glasses?

Hello Spherical power does not cause headache of this severity Was this power prescribed after cycloplegic refraction ( instilling a drop which causes foggy vision) If not then I would recommend you to consult your ophthalmologist and ask for cycloplegic refraction Also request the doctor to check her convergence If still the power is same then this headache could be due to some other cause.
