OCT is like a CT scan of the film at the back of the eye called the retina . It shows us eye surgeons with colour coding the various layers of the retina and can help pinpoint in which layer there is a problem guiding us towards treatment. 1st get your refraction done if it is correctable with glasses up to 6/6then need not to worry. If not then definitely not only Oct but complete retinal evaluation is needed.
