Eye problem
I have a lump on my left eyelid. My family doctor has told its challazion. He asked me to get omiflex(ointment) and indokap(tablet). But I am not getting these medicines anywhere in Mumbai. Can someone please tell me what are their alternatives?

Please try hot fomentation followed by zoxan/ ciplox eye ointment massage over the lid margin for 5to seven days.. If it doesn't respond.. The small 5mins procedure called incision and curretage will take care of it completely. Not in favour of intralesional steroids!!

Hello you can apply polydex /ciplox ointment indokap tablet is bot required treatment: a. warm compresses b. apply antibiotic ointment locally over lid margins c. lid massage with index finger daily If this fails, try intralesional kenacort for fast relief if this also fails, incision and curettage is solution

Chalazion has to be surgically removed. It is just a 10 min small procedure. Medicines will work only in acute stage and not in chronic stage.
