Hello, My Opthalmologist has given me Aqualube Eye Gel ( Liquid Paraffin and white Soft Paraffin Eye Gel) by Ajanta pharma (Night) .
1) What is the use of this and for what reason they have prescribed this?
2) will this cause long term adverse effect on eyes?
Please answer my both quesries.

A. This is a lubricating medicine....this is usually advised for dryness
B. It is quite a safe drug for long term use
