Eye power mismatch
I am totally new to eye power and wearing specs. Ive never ever worn a specs with power lense before. My work involves looking at computer screen whole time. Recently I visited a free eye check up camp. I got my eye inspected with power 1.25 something. Further I consulted another doctor and the eye power he inspected slightly varied from what I had inspected before. I had read putting on wrong power specs can cause your power to increase. This has let me into too much confusion. Could you give me some suggestion over this as I am afraid to wear glasses now. Hope you answer my query as soon as possible.

Dear Sir , I will first advise you to contact a qualified eye Doctor ( Ophthalmologist ) . He will give you a correct number . Minor difference in prescribed number by two different Doctors is not a very big issue. After All the number is given as per your response while checking the eyesight. Doctor will prescribe the number you are comfortable with. So don't worry too much. Another thing is better take care of your eyes while working on computer . Follow rule of 20. After every 20 min of work look away from your computer screen at an object 20 ft away for 20 seconds. Blink more often while working on computer . Have a good day .
