Eye pain and mucus

I was using perfume in morning but one spray entered my eye..,it started causing irritation, so i washed it with water... but after sleeping my eye produced mucus , and also eye irritation is there... from that eye a little blurred vision is coming

Perfumes are generally alcohol and aromatic oils based and cause irritation to the eye. Mucous is secreted to neutralise the pH of the perfume base. It is generally sufficient to rinse eyes with water and just lubricate them .
