I had cough and cold from a couple of days, and from the night of day before yesterday, there has been immense secretion from my eyes, and in the night it glues shut. It is red and there is some inflammation.

Hello Your Your symptoms are suggestive of conjunctivitis Try A.cold compresses B use antibiotic eyedrop like moxifloxacin 6times along with lubricating eyedrop frequently C.  Use two handkerchief one for each other D. Soft steroid like fluorometholone can be used in severe cases under guidance of ophthalmologist This may take 10-14days for recovery Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly share photos of your eye so that I may guide you better Regards

it is acute mucopurulent conjuntivitis.please do hot foamentation and put antibiotics eye drops 2hourly e.g. moxifloxacin and ocupol oint at bed time.
