Subconjunctival haemorrhage is not a very serious problem till there is a y visual disturbance. Yes it looks horrible. However You must get complete physical and ophthalmic check ups done . As of now you can do cold compresses with ice .

This is a sub conjunctival hemorrhage. Kindly consult ophthalmology clinic for examination. It can occur suddenly sometimes due to fluctuations in blood pressure or any trauma. A complete examination is recommended to look for any other damage. This as itself is not harmful, resolves in 10-15 days.
