Hello, When you put an eyedrop inside the eye, it divides into two parts. One part stays within and acts on the eye tissues, blood vessels,  etc. Another part mixes with the tears and exits the eye through the passage for tear drainage. This part may enter the blood circulation. However, this part is a very minute amount.
