Eye allergy or bacterial infection
Hi doctors Two weeks before my baby 15months got infection in his left eye . it was little bit red. But after few days I went to my paeditrician and he told it is conjiquivitis and gave an eye drops tobox and occupal ointment and amoxycyclin oral drops. And we continued for five days but no relief found both eyes were red now and itching was  severe. So I started antihistamine eye drop olopatadine two days before. And Allegra oral syrup started two days before. And stopped tobox and ointment. So as of now redness is in control but itching is not reducing mostly when going to sleep he kept rubbing his eyes. And in sleeping time his eyes filled with tears and TODAY yellowish mucus discharged from his eyes. So at present rubbing and itching is not going away. Watery eyes while sleeping and from today one time yelowish discharge. Now you suggest which medicine should I continue or stop . Bcz he rubs his eyes most frequently . if I stops then he rubs his faces in bedsheets or shoulder

You are right,  your baby's symptoms point towards allergy But olopat eye drops are cautioned in babies Instead a mild steroid eye drops during the day and an ointment at bed time may be used Please get atleast get a video consult to be sure of the diagnosis
