there are four  muscles in both eyes which can be operated upon. if in two operations all the four muscles  have been operated  then  in 3rd operation  the results  will  not be satisfactory  but if one or two muscles  are left behind then the operation.maybe useful provided you have 6/6vision  in both eyes.  if one eye is amblyopic  the it's of no use.
