Excessive breakthrough bleeding

Asked for Female, 21 Years

My problem is I have been breakthrough bleeding since the 28th of October and it has not stopped at all. I am currently on the second shot of the depo Provera and next week on Wednesday is my third shot but I want to know once the shot is given will the bleeding stop right away or will the breakthrough bleeding continue

With depo provera it is a known side effect to have spotting or breakthrough bleeding. As long as you are under the effect of the inj you will get bleeding.
