Hello, I am 7 weeks pregnant, I just got EM Major triggered from HSV. I am worried and would like to know if it could affect the baby and if acyclovir is ok to use during the first trimester? I get it in my hands elbows and severely in my mouth. Please advise:(

Acyclovir is comparitively safe drug..but you must keep in mind that em major is a serious condition be in touch with your dermatologist for sure
