I want to know the name for prescribed medicine for BP by a cardiologist - OLMAT MT (40+25). Is it OLMAT MT 25?

Hi there...if your not getting the brand tab.OLMAT MT (40+25), you can ask the pharmacist for another brand with the following drug name - tablet OLMESARTAN 40mg plus METOPROLOL 25mg. It is difficult to tell whether tab.OLMAT MT 25mg is the same because OLMESARTAN can be 20 or 40mg in that brand. So ask for the pharmacist by the drug name. However after you take the tablet it is always safe and better to once again confirm with your cardiologist about the tablet and it's concentration. And if your are not getting the required tablet with the appropriate composition, kindly ask your cardiologist to suggest a new one.
