Enterococcus faecilis
Hi doctor I had undergone for cervix restitching part as it had bucket tear so doctor had put folleys catheter to uterus ,I am very prone to uti though she had prescribed ceftum 500 2x for 5 days it was very hard for me to use toilet & maintain hygiene I felt some burning sensation when I was on medication later I was fine but still wanted to check if I had uti ! I gave for culture 5 days post antibiotics course and it showed enterococcus faecilis Gram stain : few pus cells , few gram positive cocci in pairs & chains Growth :enterococcus faeces I am attaching pic for reference as they haven't mentioned the colony count & I have no symptoms Is this a severe infection Kindly clear my doubt Thanks in advance
