Hello Doctor,
Since last 1 year, I have been experiencing intermittent chest pains. Underwent X-rays 3 times and full body check-up as well. Nothing was found. The pain is very intermittent in nature and does not occur regularly. But its sharp, whenever it happens, just above the heart. It aggravates when I press that particular point.
I consulted a local doctor here in Singapore as well and he said that it might be a muscular pain and that it wont go away easily.
Also, since last 1 month, I have been experiencing blocked ears, stuffy nose and sore throat. At times, ears ring as well. But there is no fever, no headache, vomiting etc.
Not sure, what is happening and need your help. Have consulted 4 separate doctors (in India and Singapore) and all find me absolutely OK. Is it in my head only? Is it anxiety?
PS:- I sleep directly under the AC, as it gets really humid here. But I have been sleeping like this since last 6 years.
Do let me know what you feel like. Thanks

Hello, I am answering your ENT related queries. You have got blocked nose, which is commonly caused by allergic rhinitis or vasomotor rhinitis. Get a CT scan of nose and paranasal sinuses to exclude any other pathology. Blocked sensation in ears may be due to OME, which can be confirmed by audiometry and tympanometry. Sore throat may be due to secondary pharyngitis due to nose block. Please take another ENT opinion from somebody more experienced.
