Endoscopy biopsy validity
Endoscopy biopsy test was done 32 hours back. And now the color of the pylo dry has changed to pink now. Is this of any concern? Does that mean biopsy is positive?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Pylo dry is a kind of rapid urease test to detect the presence of H.pylori in the stomach which produces urease. In this, the small plate is initially yello and then if there is H.pylori activity it changes color to become pink to red. If it stays yellow its negative, but if there is a change it is taken as positive. Consult your doctor again in regards to this for further management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
