Endometrial hyperplasia
I am 29yrs,had a prolonged bleeding for 2weeks,i did tvs which showed endometrial thickness 22mm.Doc gave primolute n 10mg for 1 week to stop spotting.and put me on yasmin tabs for two months.Shall i undergo some biopsy to rule out any endometrial carcinoma??

Well.. Endometrium carcinoma at your age is unlikely...its common in elderly and mostly after menopause... I don't think biopsy is a necessity now..continue the tabs for now...you may have to undergo another scan and then may also require therapeutic D and C...please follow up with the gynaecologist
