Elastase stool test shows 36

Asked for Female, 3 Years

My 3 year son having frequent motions and not gaining weight, when we tested his elastase it was shown up 36 where as usual normal range should be > 200,what does this mean.?? Any serious issue underlying??

you didnt mention other symptoms baby is facing except for poor weight gain. low stool elastase is due to pancreas not functioning well. meet a pediatrician for proper evaluation.
