Effect of paracetamol
Hi for Exemple if i have a flu ans serious coughing. so I'm taking a siroup and an antibiotic ( amoxiline 1 g for example). My question here, if a doctor prescriped paracetamol to me, is just to reduce the pain, or it have a role in fighting the virus. And s if can handle the pain, do I still have to take it (paracetamol) ?

Paracetamol is a antipyretic and analgesic medicine it means that it reduces fever and pain. It has no role in fighting virus. It gives symptomatic relief in viral infections. If you don't have fever or pain then you need not take it
