Ecosprin in retinal bleeding

Asked for Female, 54 Years

My mother had retinal bleeding in both eyes. Doctor performed laser therepy and cure her but he has started her daily one ecosprin. Her all blood tests are normal including homocystein, sugar, plac test, hs crp, bp. Does she really needs ecosprin because I have read somewhere that ecosprin may cause more bleeding.
