Hlo! I had an echo Yesterday coz I was having shortness of breath wid palpitations and some other symptoms. Also a + tive family history of heart disease..echo was done doc says it's fine- no issues but in evening when I collected report n read it found 3 values which r out of range
IVS- 15 mm (6-12 mm) LV PW- 13 mm (6-12)
Aorta- 33 mm (20-35 mm)
In final impression it's written normal report, normal chamber size but the values show a hypertrophied thickened heart
My last echo done in March 2021 says
Aorta- 2.5 cm Ivs- 0.8 PW- 0.9
Plz tell me which report shud I believe on?
Is variations in values of echo a medical occurrence ? I think it's unlikely for parameters to change so much in 4-5 months
Thanks
