Ear problem

I m always hearing a high pitched sound in my left ear. It has been 3 or 4 months since I have this problem. Its irritating and is audible at nights before sleeping. I m a musician and so i was a consistant user of headphones but now I have stopped the use of it. Now a days any loud sound feels too loud and I'm not able to bear any loud sounds for e.g. the whistle of a pressure cooker. Please help me some sort of advice.

Drop in to my clinic for a proper ENT examination. That intolerance to loud noises is called Recruitment. That needs to be investigated.

Get a hearing assessment done by a good Audiologist. Avoid head phones and ear phones. Consult your ENT SURGEON.
