Ear discharge purulent smell of a 5year
2years ago my child when 3years old has purulent ear discharge. I go to a primary health centre and doctor advice me some antibiotics syrup and Drep ear drop.thenproblem is OK. After one year same problem arises. I take same medicine as before. Then problem is OK. Now after one year same problem. What can the problem.

You child seem to be having acute suppurative otitis media which is a common type of ear infection in children. It usually resolves with antibiotic syrups and rarely drops are required.
