Its a loop diuretic acting at Na-K-2Cl reabsorptive pump at ascending loop of Henle in your kidneys; interferes with chloride-binding cotransport system, causing increased excretion of water, sodium, chlorine, magnesium, and calcium..once water excretion increased there will be chances of your stones passing with out any surgical intervention Regards
