Dytolistic Dysfunction Grade 1 (Alcoholi
Sirs Male, age 59 and was a Heavy alcoholic for over 20 years.Lipid levels were always high for about 10 years. Presently whenever I take alcohol my breathing problem starts even I walk 50 metres. Echocardiagraphy done and found Dystolic Dysfunction Grade 1. Parameters AOD 2.97cm LAD 3.82cm RVID 1.73cm IVSD 1.32cm LVIDD 4.38cm LVPWD 1.38cm LVIDS 2.08cm LVEF 61% I have left alcohol totally, Surprisingly it is noticed that my Breathing problem Does Never Occur EVEN I  Walk 3 to 4 km. It Only Occurs Mildly if I CLIMB Many Stairs or Do Any HARD Work. 1. Sir,Whether CT Cardiac Angiogram test is required at this stage to know  coronary blockage.  2. Whether this Diastolic Dysfunction can be improved or reversed if I lead an alcohol free life as I AM VERY MUCH FEARFUL of this Disease. Medicines prescribed - Arbitel Trio OD, Nafrosave 500BD, RosedayF 20 ODHS, Linvas 4 ODHS, Depaltt75 OD, Sertaline50 Od, Desvenlafaxine 50 bd,Lurasidone40 OD. I am a Non Smoker. Please advise. Regards
