Duodentis with lymphangiectasia
My father aged 58, has been diagnosed with duodentis with lymphangiectasia after biopsy. He has been having problems like constipation, bloating, loss of appetite and weakness. We have been taking treatment for it and were advised dietary modifications. But, we did not find any major improvements in the condition. We have been looking for second opinion. Could some one, possibly with prior experience of treating patients with lymphangiectasia, advise us on this. We have been looking for in-clinic consulation, in Delhi. Please suggest

Duodenal lymphangiectasia has nothing to do with current symptoms. It leads to malabsorption syndrome over the period of time.Dietary changes like taking middle chain fatty acids is advisable in this condition that you are doing. If there are no features of MAS,he should be treated for functional gastrointestinal Disorder.
