Dry flaky patch on lip
For about 3 weeks I've had a dry patch on my upper lip. I first assumed it was a cold sore (which I've never had before) but it never blistered. A local clinic confirmed it isn't a cold sore by looking at it, however; I'm not sure how to treat. It's a rough dry patch that was flaky at one point. I've tried keeping it moisturized, I've exfoliated, nothing. I'm not sure what it could be. Any advice?

Hi Thanks for your query. You could be having some form of allergic reaction. Clinical photo of the affected area would be helpful to suggest a diagnosis or remedy. You can consult on private chat with clinical photographs.
