Drug interactions with vaccine
So sorry I forgot to mention that I had been tested for covid in the month of jan and i completed my isolation around jan 25. Today I visited my doctor for cold..he gave me predmet 8 mg and solvin cold for 3 days I'll be taking my vaccine shot tomorrow, can i continue the dose? Predmet is Methylprednisolone 8mg should I stop my dose or continue it and take my vaccine shot? Also he said it's an allergy as i thus every 4 Months also after I completed my quarantine I got the same symptoms I have now and this has been since few years.

It is better not to take steroids while getting vaccinated. As it may lower your immune response. It is not advised to stop the steroid abruptly.  I personally think it is better to wait till your steroids gets tapered  and then get vaccinated.

You shouldn't be taking predmet as this would decrease your body immune mechanism to react to the vaccine. You can continue other antihistaminics for your allergy but stop taking predmet to get adequate immune response for vaccination.
