Asked for Male, 24 Years

Can propranol/metaprol and fluxovamine be taken together? I have fast heartrate and I was prescribed the beta-blocker for sometime. Then I got diagnosed with OCD as well so I was put on fluxovamine and tofisospam.. I read many online sources that fluxovamine n beta blockers together are a big no.. my gp who prescribed the medicine did not listen to my concern.. so can any cardiologist advise me about the same and also suggest me if there is any interaction between fluxovamine and losartan?

Hi Metoprolol and fluxovamine these two drugs have drug interactions Fluxovamine is metabolized by two enzymes .... Metaprolol is metabolized by one the two enzymes ....but not the two So may be used but with dose reduction.... Need to monitor your heart rate, gidiness, or fall... You can go for atenolol which has same effects of metoprolol which has less interaction with fluxovamine....
