My mother had a urinary tract infection , she had an operation to remove the mass that caused an occlusion in the urinary tract (it was caused by the inflammation of course).
Since the operation (about 4 months ago) , she drinks lots of water every day(as recommended by doctor) that she has to urinate six times during night
is this harmful?

In summer about 3-5lt is sufficient depending on weather condition and physical activity.in winter 2-3lts may be enough on same parameters.can take little less in evening if frequency bothers the sleep.
Normal frequency in night is usually 0-1.
Amount of a voided urine is also important.
A voiding diary in such situation is helpful.
