Doxycicline for throat,amoxy for phlegm?
My mother has been suffering from throat infection & phelgm from cough Does both throat and phelgm from cough belongs to same subject? Or it relates to "lung subject " What's the relation between cough and phelgm??,does it relate to throat or lung subject?? 1)Can we use amoxycycline to reduce phelgm & Doxycycliene for throat infection?? 2)Which is better to use "Amoxycycline for phelgm reduce or Doxycycliene for throat infection?? Please clarify the both throat and phelgm relation,which antibiotic like doxy or amoxy to use for better results for what??? Please clarify and give me your valuable answers

Usually amox should suffice for both. However, I wouldn't recommend self prescription.  Always better to get a consult beforehand.
