Healing after Fistula surgery takes 4 to 6 weeks. The yellow discharge has dead cells. Don't worry

It's normal to have a open wound that has some minimal yellowish translucent fluid discharge.. this method is used because it has a lower recurrence rate than closing the wound again with sutures. Discharge needs to be assessed. If it is like pus. You might need to get a review with your surgeon. If not it's fine.. it wil settle in around 2 weeks time. I hope you are doing sitz bath with savlon/betadine or Dettol water... If not ask your surgeon about it
Well bcz of the fistulotomy you will be having secretions usually they will heal spontaneously.once consult the surgeon who has operated to rule out any secondary infection
